                                                                                     Empire Mica
   The Gulf of Mexico's premier wreck dive is the Empire Mica. This wreck is also an excellent fishing destination for the offshore fisherman. Torpedoed off the coast in 1942 by a German U-Boat, the Mica is also of historic interest. I encourage all interested to research this subject that is such an interesting part of our local history. There are links below to guide your search.
